Pricing
Priced by time, not by language
Billing counts the wall-clock time your captions are on. Two-way meeting interpretation costs exactly what one-way costs — and simultaneous languages will follow the same rule when they land.
The entire billing model: this clock runs while captions are on — and never otherwise.

How billing works
Pay for caption time, nothing else
No per-language surcharge, no surprise line items. The meter runs only while captions are live.
Billed by caption time
We count the wall-clock seconds your captions are live. Two-way meeting interpretation is billed exactly like one-way — the number of languages never multiplies the meter.
The clock stops when you do
Pause a session or close the window and metering stops. Setting up, editing glossaries, and reviewing past transcripts never count against your hours.
Live audio never reaches our servers
The browser streams audio straight to the speech provider with a short-lived key. Servers handle sign-in, key issuance, and metering — plus, if you turn on Voice to Voice, relaying the translated sentence and its synthesized audio back to you, never stored.
FAQ
Questions about plans
Plain answers on metering, limits, refunds, and where your records live.
How is my usage measured?
By the wall-clock time captions are active, measured on our servers. The number of target languages never multiplies your usage.
What happens when I reach my limit?
New sessions stop until the period resets. You can upgrade at any time to continue right away.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, at any time. Changes take effect from the next billing period, and you keep access until then. If you haven’t started a captioning session on the paid plan, you can still get that payment back in full — within 7 days, or 14 days in the EEA and UK. Full details in the Paid Service Terms (newey.ai/terms/billing).
Are my transcripts stored on your servers?
Live audio never passes through our servers, and captions render in your browser — two features you turn on yourself route more through server memory: audience sharing relays caption text to viewers, and Voice to Voice relays the translated sentence plus the synthesized audio it generates. Both are discarded immediately and never stored. If you save a session, its record is stored in your account so you can open it on any device, reachable by no other user and by no one on our side, and encrypted end to end if you turn that on. Private sessions are never saved, and you can delete or export any record anytime.
Do you support conferences and large events?
Yes. For multi-track events, custom volume, or on-site support, contact us at support@newey.ai.
