What it is
Live captions carry you through the moment; AI notes take care of what comes after. When a session ends and its record is saved to your account, Newey can read the whole transcript and write it up as a finished document — so "what did we actually decide?" has an answer without replaying an hour in your head.
Every note is written in your interface language, no matter what language the session was in. Read it next to the transcript, edit it in place, copy it, or download it as Markdown — ready for your wiki, your docs, or the follow-up email.
A template for every kind of session
Each template reads the same session with a different lens — what it looks for and how it lays the note out is what sets it apart. You can create one note of each per session.
One-pager summary
The whole session on one page: what it was about, the main points, and what was left open. This is the default — and the one Newey can write automatically after every saved session.
Meeting minutes
Agenda, decisions, and action items — with owners and due dates wherever they were said out loud.
Business meeting record
Attendees, discussion by topic, agreements, the numbers that came up, and follow-ups.
Talk or keynote
The speaker's argument in order — key claims, examples, and audience questions.
Earnings call
Guidance, reported figures, management commentary, and the analyst Q&A — figures are quoted as spoken, not recalculated.
Interview or podcast
Who was speaking, the questions asked, and the most quotable answers.
News briefing
The headline, what happened, who is involved, and why it matters.
Film, drama or animation
The plot so far, the characters, the memorable lines, and terms worth remembering.
When to use it
How to use it

Finish a session as usual — if it's set to be saved, the record lands in your account. Open it from your dashboard.
Switch to the [Notes] tab
Next to the transcript you'll find [Notes]. Press [Create a note].
Choose a note template
Each template reads the same session with a different lens. You can create one of each — the note is ready moments later.
Read, edit, download
Edit the note in place, copy it, or download it as Markdown. Want the one-pager written for you every time? Turn on [Auto-generate after each session] in Settings.
Details & tips
Written in your language
Notes come out in the language you use Newey in — a Korean one-pager from an English keynote, or the other way around.
Faithful to the transcript
The note sticks to what was actually said. Anything the transcript doesn't support is left out rather than guessed, and numbers are quoted, not recalculated.
Original and translation, side by side
Saved sessions keep each spoken sentence paired with its translation, and notes read both — so names, terms, and figures survive the trip into the write-up.
Only what you chose to keep
Notes are written solely from sessions you chose to save — private and unsaved sessions are never stored, so there is nothing to summarize. The transcript is used only to write the note, and with end-to-end encryption on, the server stores your notes as ciphertext, just like your records.
Requirements & limitations
- Notes are written from saved session records; a session that was private, empty, or not saved has nothing to summarize.
- One note per template per session — delete a note to write it again as a fresh run.
